Ahead of the CDC Regional Dance Classics, dance enthusiasts can learn from experienced Caribbean instructors at two free workshops on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at the National Cycling Centre, Couva.
4:00 PM – 5:15 PM: Latin Body, Arms & Actions with Mark Burgess (Barbados)
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Club Style Cha Cha Cha with Richard Boatswain (Trinidad and Tobago)
Open to dancers and members of the public alike, the workshops offer practical exposure to the body movement, styling, and musical interpretation used across Latin and club-style dancing — extending the value of the Classics beyond the competition floor.
Presented in collaboration with PADATT and supported by the National Dance Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Participation is free. Interested persons are encouraged to arrive early.
