Support the Future of Dance in Trinidad & Tobago
Dance is culture, history, and expression in motion. Help the NDA keep it thriving for generations to come.
What Your Support Has Already Made Possible
Since the current Executive took office in 2024, your generosity has helped us rebuild, grow, and bring dance back to the national stage.
In January 2026, we reinstated the National Limbo Competition after an 18-year hiatus — partnering with the National Carnival Commission to put up a TTD $100,000 prize pool and give limbo its rightful place in Carnival culture again. Help us grow the 2027 competition — $250 sponsors a competitor’s entry fee and costume support.
SPARK — The Schools Festival of Dance has given young dancers a platform to shine since 2009. The 2026 edition ran the full school year, welcoming primary and secondary school finalists nationwide in partnership with the Ministry of Education. A $150 donation covers one school’s participation costs for SPARK 2027.
We brought the internationally acclaimed Ailey II tour to Trinidad and Tobago, with Wendy Fitzwilliam serving as Gala Patron, and hosted free workshops with regional leaders through the Caribbean Dance Council’s Regional Dance Classics. Your gift helps us bring more world-class dance exchange to local dancers, free of charge.
New partnerships with the National Commission for Indian Culture, the Tobago House of Assembly, and CCN TV6 mean more communities — in Trinidad and in Tobago — have access to dance programming and national broadcast visibility.
Behind the scenes, we modernised our financial systems, upgraded our website with secure online registration and payments, and launched The NDA Messenger to keep our members and supporters informed. Every dollar you give goes further because it’s managed transparently.
Your Donation. Their Stage.
Every contribution — big or small — supports the next SPARK finalist, the next Limbo champion, the next dancer who gets to perform on a world stage.
